Our mission:

To share bikes as a vehicle for all

Project Bike Club started as a response to inequality within youth biking opportunity in Tucson Arizona. We are working to help more kids discover the joy of riding bikes.

We achieve this by ensuring:

  • That our learning environments are constantly and consistently working towards being a safer place for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC youth.
  • That we collaborate with schools and community leaders to provide relevant programming to kids where they already are, I.e. schools, community centers, neighborhood parks etc.
  • That riders can learn in a noncompetitive environment that instills confidence through practice and praise.
  • That our programming can adapt to better serve each individual youth involved.

A necessary acknowledgement

At Project Bike Club, we acknowledge that there are barriers of entry into the world of biking that keep many folks from being able to experience the joy and freedom that comes from riding a bike.

We are working to break down some of these barriers so families that don't see biking as an option are able to have access to exceptional biking education, equipment and environments without the monetary cost or emotional compromise that is currently being asked of them.
