Former Staff and Board Members

Veronique Pardee
Founder, Former Board President
Veronique’s love of the bicycle began out of necessity. Without a car until she was 27, non-motorized forms of transportation got her around Chicago, where she grew up and Philadelphia, where she concluded her studies with a law degree. She’s been in Tucson since the late 90’s and considers the desert her home. While in Tucson, and with the help of Bell Bicycle Helmets she started and led Bell Joy Ride (now Tucson Women Shredders)—monthly women’s mountain bike rides and networking events. She has coached kids on bikes for over ten years and helping youth uncover their potential through the bicycle is her passion. She is also an avid rock climber and likes nothing more than to put on a backpack and head into the mountains.
